COMBO! Boys Make Girls Cry & Something Has To Change

Is it just me or was Brody on fire tonight!? Who knew he was so angry? There are a couple thing about this episode I don't understand:

1. Why was Stephanie even invited to Frankie's Bday in the first place?? If it was clear how much Brody dislikes her, I don't know why anyone would invite her. She's really only friends with LC... and that's cuz MTV says so. I guess I just answered my own question.

2. Audrina goes to Vegas but doesn't talk to ANYONE, and hangs out with Justin Bobby the whole time. She didn't need to leave LA to do that. Honestly... I don't understand.

I just about fell off my chair when Spencer told Heidi's sister to start looking for a place to live 24 hours into her stay. This (of course) takes place when she deleted his Tivo. So classic.

I'm sorry... but I don't believe Brody and Doug really went to jail. You can't fool me MTV!

I know this is all over the place... I apologize. Final thought? How awesome was it when LC and Audrina were both crying (btw, I don't think Lauren had ANY reason to apologize) and when LC says "I'm sorry" Audrina replies with a ridiculous, "it's OK." Idiot! You should have been the one apologizing dumbass!

Episodes combined get a B.

Better Off As Friends

Sorry I don't have more to say about this episode... but let's be real: no sparks between LC and Doug? Stevie Wonder could have seen this one coming...

I will say I like Audrina less and less with every passing day. Lauren and Brody need to get back together, and Whitney's NY experience was the most awkward experience I could ever imagine. If my boss ever invited some random dude to drinks (on the assumption it was a group activity) and then PEACED OUT once the dude showed up?!?! I would be livid. How lame did that make Whitney look?? Like a desperate, pathetic loser. (And for the record, the "model" wasn't even that hot) I think Whitney could have done better on her own.

Episode gets a B- (and that's generous)

UPDATE: Ahna and I further discussed this episode...

Drama Follows Them

Wow wow WOW!

1st off... when LC said Stephanie has given her no reason not to trust her... I have 2 words: Spencer's SISTER!

What is Lauren thinking that Spencer and Heidi wouldn't show up to Stephanie's party? Does she forget they are on the same television show?! I found it sad (and hilarious) that as soon as Speidi showed up the party left. I loved the expression on Lo's face when they arrived. Way to keep it incognito.

My favorite part of the episode however, is when Lo asked Audrina how she was and told her she looked nice. Audrina blankly stared at her (obvi) and Lo says "I'm glad we talked." HA! Amazing.

I also enjoyed the subtle acting when Brody and Lauren hugged at Boulevard 3 and Doug seemed a bit jealous. Doug may have an acting future beyond the Hills! On a side note; how AWESOME do the "video guys" make LA look?!?! I live here and trust me... it's not that awesome. I mean it's awesome, but they make it look sooo glamourous. Kudos camera dudes.

Overall the episodes get an A.

I'm excited to see more Lo/Audrina dramz; and I'd love to see Spencer blow a fuze over Stephanie and LC (or even better when Heidi and LC become friends again!) which I believe is inevitable...

Sorry so brief but I'm workin' hard over here!

Thoughts??

We'll Never Be Friends

For anyone who didn't watch the Hills last night... Spoilers below!

I feel the season premier left me with three main points to get across...

a) How full of douchebags was Audrina's party?
b) Everybody has really great hair extensions this season (as seen below)
Photobucket
c) I don't care what anyone says... I love Lo

The episode began with Lauren telling Whitney about her hot date with former high school fling, Doug (obviously destined for disaster). I don't know why, but Lauren's relationships are sadly as boring as they are short-lived. She should take a lesson from Heidi and Spencer; apparently drama keeps the flame alive. (and makes for more interesting television)

It seems Heidi thinks NOT telling Spencer that her sister is coming to visit (and staying in their home) is a good idea. A really good idea! So good she decides NOT to tell her sister she is once again living with Spencer.

Smart girl. This obviously goes over really well.

Needless to say, Spencer acts like an ass... Heidi makes excuses for Spencer acting like an ass... and Holly (sister) decides she wants to move to LA and into this web of misery.

Of course she does!

Rewind to Audrina's B-day party... full of douchebags. That's about the only thing worth noting here. OH! And Lo kinda acted like a bitch. But whatev, I still love Lo

Let me break it down for you. I liked Audrina! I think she was feeling "left out" because of the friendship Lauren and Lo have... but Audrina straight said: "I just don't care. You and I will never be friends." Harsh! Lo was trying to talk it out and stroke Audrina's ego by going to her and making an effort. I'm curios how others perceived this... because I can see both sides. Lo hasn't been the most welcoming... but, honestly, I don't know if I could really be friends with someone as "special" as Audrina. I'm sorry but you can't help but notice the blank stare in her eyes... always... like the lights are on but no one's home? And honestly, if she cared about her friendship with Lauren she would hang out regardless of Lo and whatever issue is going on there.

Overall I say solid job setting up the "plot" for the season... creating some curiosity whether Lauren and Heidi may ever be friends again. Great job Spencer for acting like the ass we can always count on. And Lauren, enjoy "Doug" while you can! You know the Hills producers won't let that last long!

I give the season premier an A-

As always your thoughts/opinios are welcome. As long as they are the same as mine. :)
